Man Hit Victim With Bat Over Sexual Advances Made to Wife: Greenwich PD
A Stamford man was arrested for the Greenwich incident.

GREENWICH, CT — Officers arrested a man who allegedly assaulted a victim with a baseball bat after the victim made sexual advances toward his wife, according to police.
Police went to Perkins Road to investigate an assault report July 27 at 7:13 a.m.
The victim said he was hit in the head with a baseball bat and his vehicle was vandalized by an unknown male. He was transported to Greenwich Hospital for treatment of injuries.

Gilmar Obdulio Cana-Montufar of Stamford was identified as the alleged assailant.
Cana-Montufar drove to a parking lot with the intention of confronting the victim over sexual advances made toward his wife, police said.

He smashed all of the windows of the victim's car and hit him in the head with a baseball bat, police said.
He was charged with carrying a dangerous weapon, first-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.
