GREENWICH, CT — A Greenwich man is accused of brandishing a machete during an argument in the Byram area of town, police said. According to an arrest report, officers responded to a report of an altercation on High Street around 8 a.m. on Wednesday.

An investigation revealed Roderick Gordon, 47, of Greenwich, got into a loud argument, during which he brandished the weapon and moved toward another person with it in his hand, police said.

The accused was arrested on charges of second-degree threatening, disorderly conduct and carrying a dangerous weapon.
