Man Charged With Identity Theft, Criminal Impersonation: Greenwich PD
Police said a 50-year-old man made fraudulent purchases totaling over $5,000.

GREENWICH, CT — A 50-year-old man turned himself in to Greenwich police on March 12 on an active arrest warrant that charged him with fourth-degree larceny, first-degree identity theft and criminal impersonation, according to an arrest report.
Police said Brenton Somers, of the Bronx, N.Y., obtained the personal and financial information of a 68-year-old victim and made several purchases from Jan. 14, 2022, through Feb. 17, 2022, totaling $5,279.
Somers was able to post a $25,000, and is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on March 27.
