Man Charged With Strangulation By Greenwich Police: PD
He was arrested on a warrant charging him strangulation and other charges, police said.

GREENWICH, CT — A New York man was arrested Monday by Greenwich Police on a warrant charging him with strangulation and other charges, police said. On Saturday, officers responded to a central Greenwich home after receiving a report of a fight in progress.
After investigating, officers determined Modesto Armenteros, 36, of Port Chester, N.Y., had caused physical harm to a person there, police said. The accused was not at the home when officers arrived, so they obtained a warrant for his arrest, police said.
On Monday, officers picked up the accused from the New Haven Police Department, where he was being held, police said. He was charged with second-degree strangulation, second-degree unlawful restraint and disorderly conduct.
