Man Charged With Trespassing, Burglary In Cos Cob: Greenwich Police

Police said they arrested a 28-year-old man on Aug. 21.

GREENWICH, CT — A 28-year-old man was arrested on Aug. 21 after police said he trespassed on the property of a residence in Cos Cob and stole medical supplies.

Sean Jarrett, of Bridgeport, was charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal trespassing and sixth-degree larceny, police said. He was unable to post a $5,000 bond and was remanded to custody.

On Aug. 21 just after 4 p.m., police responded to a single-family home in Cos Cob on a report of an unknown person who was trespassing in a shed, and had just left the scene.

Police found Jarrett nearby and detained him for questioning, police said.

Police said Jarrett unlawfully entered and remained in a private gated community, and was in possession of stolen property. He told police he entered the shed and had taken medical supplies, according to an arrest report.

Jarett is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 6.
