Man Survived Fall Onto Tracks, Train Passing Overhead In Cos Cob: MTA
The incident occurred on the morning of Aug. 10, according to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority

GREENWICH, CT — A man who fell onto the tracks Saturday at the Cos Cob Metro-North Railroad Station avoided being hit by an arriving train that passed overhead, according to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
MTA spokesperson Lucas Bejarano said that approximately 8:26 a.m. on Aug. 10, a 25-year-old man was found laying between the tracks at the Cos Cob station.
An investigation found that the man fell from the edge of the platform onto the tracks, Bejarano noted, adding the man was not believed to be a victim of a crime.

Three cars of an arriving train passed overhead without making contact with the man, Bejarano said.
Shortly before 9 a.m., local EMS took the man to Stamford Hospital in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.

The incident caused delays on the New Haven Line for several hours Saturday.
