GREENWICH, CT — The death of Devon Dalio, the 42-year-old son of billionaire Ray Dalio and his wife, Barbara Dalio, last month in Greenwich reportedly was ruled accidental by the state Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, writes the New Haven Register.

Devon Dalio was killed in a fiery crash on Dec. 17 when the car he was driving slammed into a Verizon store in the Thruway Shopping Center. He died of smoke inhalation and thermal injuries, according to medical examiners.

According to his family, Devon Dalio was the Co-Founder of P-Squared Management Enterprises, a private equity firm that is focused on small and mid-market healthcare technology companies. Prior to starting this endeavor, Devon was Co-CEO of the Dalio Family Office for eight years.
