New Officer Joins The Greenwich Police Department
The new officer comes to town after spending 24 years with the New York State Police.

GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Police Department welcomed a new member into the ranks this week.
Officer Gregory Kalarchian was sworn in by First Selectman and Police Commissioner Fred Camillo at the Greenwich Public Safety Complex on Tuesday.
Kalarchian comes to Greenwich after spending 24 years with the New York State Police, the GPD said in an announcement. Kalarchian has extensive experience in DUI enforcement and motor vehicle collision investigations.

Additionally, Kalarchian is a certified police motorcycle operator, the GPD added.
"The Greenwich Police Department is grateful that Officer Kalarchian has chosen to continue his public service with us," the department said in an announcement. "After completing his Connecticut police training, he will exemplify the values we hold dear: Service, Respect, Courage, Fairness, and Diligence, as he serves the residents and visitors of our wonderful town."
