New Zealand Menswear Store To Open On Greenwich Avenue

GREENWICH, CT — New Zealand menswear brand Rodd & Gunn will open a new, 3,500 square foot store on Greenwich Avenue in October, next to the Apple store, the company announced this week.

Rodd & Gunn is a "modern lifestyle-driven menswear brand," and the Greenwich store marks the company's first in Connecticut. The other U.S. stores are in Newport Beach, California; Brooklyn, NY; San Francisco; Los Angeles; and La Jolla, California.

"We’re trying to be thoughtful about where we open in the U.S. and find communities with a strong sense of identity that we think will embrace our New Zealand sensibilities," said Mike Beagley, CEO of Rodd & Gunn, in a statement. "Greenwich is not just picturesque but has a sense of style and presence and we were immediately drawn to that. We hope to appeal to Greenwich men who appreciate a smart-casual approach to style that’s relaxed but still very much put together."

The Greenwich location will showcase the entire range and more. The 3,500-square-foot store is slated to open early October.
