GREENWICH, CT — The Nick Loeb Foundation will host its fourth annual “Party with the Police” BBQ and pool party on Saturday, June 28, bringing together families, local law enforcement officers, and community members in support of higher education for the children of police officers.
Set to take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at a private residence in Purchase, N.Y., the event will feature food, live entertainment, and recreational activities, with all proceeds directed toward college scholarships for children of officers in Greenwich, and Harrison and White Plains, N.Y.
Many of the officers face financial barriers to accessing higher education.

“This event gives the community a great opportunity to show appreciation for our local police officers, and help create a brighter future for their children,” said Ilaria Damiano, president of the Nick Loeb Foundation, in a news release.
Last year’s gathering raised enough funding to support three college scholarships to the children of Greenwich, Harrison, and White Plains police officers.

The event includes a barbecue lunch sponsored by celebrity chef David Burke, live music, swimming, a 50-foot water slide, mechanical bull, and special appearances from notable former New York Mets and Yankees players.
Special guests scheduled to attend include Howard Johnson, Mookie Wilson, Dwight Gooden, along with Ray Negron, Roy White, and Jim Leyritz.
“The Harrison PBA is honored and grateful for our ongoing relationship with The Nick Loeb Foundation,” said Detective Antony Salov of the Harrison Police Department in a news release. “Their generous support eases the financial burden of college and inspires our members’ children to pursue academic and personal goals that reflect the Foundation’s values.”
The Greenwich Police Department is also among the scholarship beneficiaries. “The Greenwich Police Department takes great pride in the collaborations it has fostered with the community,” added Greenwich Police Chief James Heavey. “The Nick Loeb Foundation’s Party With The Police party is a prime illustration of community support.”
Nick Loeb, the foundation’s founder, said his commitment to education began with scholarship work in high school and continues through this initiative.
“Our officers put their lives on the line to serve our communities every day, and yet many of their families struggle to afford the rising costs of higher education,” Loeb said. “Through this event, we’re not only showing appreciation—we’re providing real support that opens doors for the next generation.”
Admission is free for children. The event will also include vendor giveaways hosted by Melissa Tomlin of 914 Pop-ups, along with international cuisine and family-friendly activities.
General admission tickets are $250, and VIP tickets are $450.
The VIP Experience includes a kids clinic, batting practice and playing catch with MLB stars during the event.
