Obituary: David Rada, 89, Longtime Greenwich Resident

With great sorrow we announce the passing of David R. Rada, loving father and grandfather. He died peacefully on July 29, 2023. He was born and raised in North Mianus and attended Greenwich Public Schools, graduating in 1951. He also obtained an associate degree in business and was a long-time employee of Citibank. He enjoyed traveling, reading, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by two sons John (Anne) Rada and Mark (PJay) Rada, and two grandsons Matthew (Allysha) Rada and David Rada, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his loving wife Josephine Porcheddu Rada, his parents Ann and John Rada, his brothers John (Patricia) Rada and Richard Milo Rada.

A private showing will be held at Castigliones Funeral Home. Please join the family for the Mass of Christian Burial at St Catherine of Siena Church, 4 Riverside Ave, Riverside, CT at 10am, followed by the burial at St Mary’s Cemetery in Greenwich, CT.
