Obituary: Donna Ambrogio Clifford, 72, Formerly Of Greenwich
Donna had a contagious laugh and always lit up a room with her smile.

Donna Marie Ambrogio Clifford beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend, passed away with her two children by her side at the age of 72, after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease on November 6th, 2023.
Born on April 29th 1951, Donna grew up in Greenwich CT and attended Greenwich public schools. She worked for the Town of Greenwich, Ct for 20 years until moving to New Mexico where she worked at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe. Donna then relocated to Albuquerque where she worked at Central New Mexico Community College.

Donna enjoyed going to her son’s youth hockey games and loved going to Karaoke with her daughter. She loved music, dancing, going to the casino, traveling and was a diehard Elvis Presley fan. Donna had a contagious laugh and always lit up a room with her smile. One of her greatest attributes was always seeing the good in people.
Donna was predeceased by her husband George Clifford and her parents William and Katherine Ambrogio. Donna is survived by her children Richard Piacitelli and girlfriend Amel Belahi, Melissa Piacitelli Schnelwar and Husband Andrew Schnelwar, Stepson Jason Clifford, 5 grandchildren and her siblings William, Carl, and Cindy Ambrogio, along with many nieces and nephews, great-nieces & nephews and her best friend Bill Avnayim.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday Nov. 14 from 4-8pm at the Castiglione Funeral Home in Greenwich. The Funeral Service will be private.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the Parkinson's foundation www.parkinson.org.
