Obituary: Eda Wolack, 79, Of Greenwich

Eda Wolack of Greenwich Connecticut passed peacefully on January 30, 2023 at her home. She was born on May 30, 1943 in Greenwich. Eda was a graduate of Greenwich High School and Berkeley College and was employed by the Board of Education in the Town of Greenwich and worked in the offices at New Lebanon School and Greenwich High School for over 40 years.

She loved children and enjoyed teaching First Communion classes for many years. Eda is predeceased by her husband, Johnny, her three daughters, Kristi, Lisa and Lori and her mother and father, Santina and Domenico Facchin.

She is survived by four grandchildren Alicia, Jessica, Lisa and John, her three sisters Rene Goepfrich, Lidia Lupinacci and Valy LaPonte and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Eda had many friends and was loved by all. She loved to dance, travel, and spend time with family.

Calling hours will be Thursday, February 2, 5 - 8 at Castiglione Funeral Home, 544 Old Post Road, Greenwich, CT.

Mass will be held Friday February 3, 10:00 at Saint Roch's Church in Greenwich followed by interment at St. Mary's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Eda requested donations to your favorite charity or Huntington's Disease Society of America.
