Obituary: Joseph Anthony Fratello, 90, Of Greenwich

Joseph Anthony Fratello, longtime resident of Greenwich, CT passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. He was 90 years old.

Born in Greenwich, CT, he was the son of Michael Fratello and Josephine Finnochio.

Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Veda Fratello, his four children, Cathy Fratello (Brian Dominici), Michele (Paul) Santoro, Michael (Lisa) Fratello, and Mary Beth Fratello (Bruce Cunningham). He is survived by four grandchildren, Dylan Dominici (Olivia “Livi” Patrizzi), Frank "Frankie" Santoro, Connor Dominici and Michael Santoro, and his brother, Michael Fratello, and many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents, Michael Fratello and Josephine Finnochio, his older brother, James Fratello.

Calling hours will be held at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home located at 31 Arch St. Greenwich, CT 06830 from 8:30 AM - 10:30 AM on Friday, September 1, 2023.

A funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart Parish on Friday, September 1, 2023 located at 38 Gold St, Greenwich, CT 06830 at 11 AM.

Burial will take place at St Mary's Cemetery located at 399 North St. Greenwich, CT 06830. Military Honors (Army) will be rendered at the graveside.
