Obituary: Theresa R. Greco, 98, Of Riverside

Theresa Rose Greco, age 98 of Riverside, CT, was called home to God on Thursday, March 16, 2023 surrounded by her closest and most cherished loved ones.

Tess was born on May 22, 1924 to the late Vito and Elizabeta Gironda Degiacomo in Mamaroneck, NY. She was raised and educated in Mamaroneck. Tess’s life was dedicated to her faith and taking care of her loved one’s and even people who only crossed her path. Tess was a devoted Catholic and a dedicated patron of Saint Catherine of Siena Church in Riverside, CT.

She is survived by her sister Virginia Putrino, her children, Elizabeth Lundgren, Kathleen Willsey, Jean Mahood (Charles), and Albert B. Greco, numerous nieces and nephews, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert B. Greco and siblings William Degiacomo, Mary Degiacomo, Edna Cavalea, Florence Carpenter, Jean Varbero, Margaret Francia, Jack Degiacomo, and Rita Ianello.

Calling hours will be held on Monday March 20, 2023 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at Lacerenza Funeral Home 8 Schuyler Avenue , Stamford. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday March 21, 2023 at 11:00am at St. Catherine of Siena at Church 4 Riverside Avenue in Riverside.
