Obituary: Winston Alexander Robinson, 70, Of Greenwich

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Winston Robinson, 70, of Greenwich. Winston passed away on January 26, 2023, after a 3.5 year battle with cancer.

Winston is survived by his two sons, Jason and Alex, daughter-in-law, Shawna, and grand-daughter Ivy.

He is survived by his brothers: John and Neville. Sisters: Hope and Lois. Nephews: Matthew, Lee and Dana. Nieces: Lauren and Megan.

Winston was a beloved and prominent member of the Greenwich community. For 35 years, Winston was a hard-working and dedicated member of the Greenwich Housing Authority staff. He also served as president of the NAACP Greenwich Chapter, served on the Greenwich board of Parks and Recreation, and was heavily committed to helping the community of Greenwich. His unwavering faith, strength, jovial personality, and charitable nature will be deeply missed by those who knew him.

Public Memorial Service on Friday, February 17th at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home 31 Arch Street Greenwich, CT 06830 from 4:00pm – 8:00pm.

The Funeral service on Saturday, February 18th at Bethel AME Church from 11:00am – 12:00pm.
