GREENWICH, CT — A new phase of the Old Greenwich Common Force Main Replacement Project began on Friday, according to the Greenwich Department of Public Works. Work Zone 1 and Work Zone 2 were completed ahead of time.

A temporary road closure will take place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, according to an update from Greenwich DPW. Depending on weather and unforeseen conditions, Work Zone 3 is anticipated to be completed in approximately three to four weeks.
DPW recommends residents give themselves a little extra time when traveling, and that they stay vigilant for signage and detours posted.
