Old Greenwich Farmers Market Set to Open
Get a locally grown taste of summer at the Old Greenwich Farmers Market.
Good news for those who want farm fresh products — the 2014 Old Greenwich Farmer's Market will open next Wednesday.
Locally produced and grown products available include organic and conventionally farmed produce, fruits, honey, syrup, plants, pork, poultry, fish, pasta, roses, flowers, breads, pies, jams, weekly guest vendors, crafts, music, authors and chefs.
The weekly market will start Wednesday, May 28 at Presbyterian Church of Old Greenwich parking lot at 38 West End Ave. The hours will be 2:30 to 6 p.m.
This year the market is offering a Friends program — shoppers can purchase a Friends membership for $50 and receive discounts and special offers from each of the vendors.
