Over $2,000 Worth Of Merchandise Stolen From Greenwich Store: PD
Police said a man and a juvenile are accused of stealing over $2,000 worth of merchandise from a store in Greenwich.

GREENWICH, CT — A New York man accused of stealing over $2,000 worth of merchandise from a store in Greenwich was arrested last week, according to police. On Thursday, Feb. 27, officers on foot noticed a theft in progress at a store in Central Greenwich.
According to police, Hamed Bakayoko, 20, of New York, N.Y., and a juvenile stole approximately $2,058 worth of merchandise from a store on Greenwich Avenue. When officers confronted the pair, they fled on foot in different directions, police said.
Officers later located Bakayoko a short distance away and arrested him, police said. He was charged with third-degree larceny, risk of injury to a child, organized retail theft and interfering with an officer/resisting.
