Over $6K Worth Of Jackets Stolen, Suspects Sought: Greenwich PD

Greenwich Police are seeking the identity of three shoplifting suspects and ask anyone with information to contact them.

GREENWICH, CT — Police are seeking the identity of three people suspected of stealing jackets collectively worth over $6,000 from a Greenwich store. On Nov. 2, eight jackets were stolen from Saks Fifth Avenue, The Collective on Greenwich Avenue.

According to a statement from police, video surveillance showed three suspects enter the store around 5:30 p.m. The suspects walked around the store, viewing and touching several items before continuing to the second floor, police said.

The suspects then took several coats from a display rack in a panicked manner and proceeded down the stairs and out the front door onto Greenwich Avenue, police said. They continued west on W. Elm Street while carrying several jackets, police said.

The items stolen included three black Canada goose jackets, two burgundy Canada goose jackets and one red Canada goose jacket, collectively valued at $6,520.93, according to police.

Police describe the first suspect as a woman with short black hair and a heavier build. She is approximately 5 feet and 6 inches tall and was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored pants and grey UGG boots.

Police describe the second suspect as a skinny woman with braided black hair. She is approximately 5 feet and 6 inches tall and was wearing a grey zip-up sweatshirt, blue jeans and black and white sneakers.

The third suspect had long, braided black hair and a larger build, according to police. The suspect was approximately 5 feet and 6 inches tall and was wearing a grey zip-up sweatshirt with a pink shirt underneath, grey sweatpants and black and white sneakers, police said.

A vehicle linked to the suspects was identified by police as a Honda HRV with a Massachusetts license plate that reads 8KM759. Police said the vehicle is an AVIS rental.
