Motor Vehicle Accident Causing Delays On I-95 In Greenwich

GREENWICH, CT — A two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon southbound on I-95 between exits 6 and 5 is causing delays on the thruway from exit 5 back to exit 9, according to the state Department of Transportation.

The crash was reported just after 3 p.m., and has resulted in the temporary closure of the right lane.

Earlier in the afternoon, an overturned motor vehicle on the northbound side of I-95 in Greenwich caused traffic delays. That crash occurred just before 1 p.m. between exits 2 and 3.
