P&Z Reaches Decision On Private Horse Farm In Greenwich: Report
The 14-acre property would be used for training an aspiring Olympian.

GREENWICH, CT — Approval was granted by the Planning and Zoning Commission earlier this month for the construction of a 14-acre, private horse farm in the Greenwich Back Country that will largely be used to train an aspiring Olympian, reports the Greenwich Free Press.
Owned by the Sternlicht family, the Old Mill Road horse farm will primarily be used to train Adrienne Sternlicht. As many as 14 horses could be housed on the property once it is completed.
Two properties will adjoined to create the facility and required additional town approvals. Among the granted exceptions were allowing the stables and riding ring to be greater than 1,200 square feet, a request that required approval by the Zoning Board of Appeals.
