Pair Accused Of $7,000 Shoplifting Spree From Greenwich Saks: PD
The incident allegedly occurred last summer.

GREENWICH, CT — Two New York City people were arrested on warrants by Greenwich police this week in connection with a $7,000 shoplifting incident at the Greenwich Avenue Saks Fifth Avenue last summer, according to authorities.
Yeico Guzman Fernandez, 18, and Mariel Miranda Guerra, 34, are accused of stealing three handbags from the store on July 31, in what Greenwich Police Lt. John Slusarz told Patch was a "grab and go" incident.
Detectives were able to determine the identities of the two suspected thieves and obtained warrants for their arrests.

Both were apprehended in Pennsylvania on unrelated charges and were extradited back to Greenwich from the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in Eagleville, PA on Jan. 2.
While the two suspects listed the same West 405th Street address as their home, Slusarz declined to disclose the nature of their relationship.

The two were charged with:
- Organized retail theft
- Larceny, third degree
- Conspiracy to commit larceny
Both were held in lieu of bail of $50,000 and are scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Jan. 16.
