GREENWICH, CT — Election day in Greenwich is getting closer and there are plenty of candidates running for various positions in town. To help residents make an informed decision on Nov. 5, Greenwich Patch asked candidates to answer questions about their campaigns and will be publishing candidate profiles as the big day draws near.

Incumbent Eileen Toretta is running for a seat on the Representative Town Meeting (District 2). She has served on the RTM for three terms.

A Greenwich resident, she has four children who also grew up in Greenwich.

The single most pressing issue facing our town/district is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I am a three term RTM member and a 45 year resident and active volunteer in different areas within the town which gives me meaningful insight and knowledge.

List other issues that define your campaign platform:

Strong advocate of the democratic non partisan RTM.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

Three terms on RTM, as well as the HHS and DPW subcommittees.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

Respect and listen to varying views and vote in the best interests of the people and town.
