GREENWICH, CT — A pedestrian was injured in downtown Greenwich on Tuesday afternoon after being hit by a car on Havemeyer Place, according to Capt. Mark Zuccerella of the Greenwich Police Department.

Zuccerella said a car was traveling down Greenwich Avenue and turned left onto Havemeyer Place when it collided with the pedestrian who was in a crosswalk.

The collision occurred at a low speed, and the pedestrian suffered non-life threatening injuries, Zuccerella said.
