Pedestrian Seriously Injured In Old Greenwich Crash: Police

The incident occurred Friday morning on Sound Beach Avenue.

GREENWICH, CT — A pedestrian suffered serious injuries Friday morning when she was struck by a vehicle while crossing Sound Beach Avenue in Old Greenwich, according to Greenwich Police Lt. John Slusarz.

The victim, whose identity was not released, was first treated at the scene by emergency personnel and then transported to Greenwich Hospital. Her injuries and condition also were not disclosed.

"At about 9:50 a.m. a vehicle that had been traveling southbound on Sound Beach Avenue made a left turn into the driveway for the Arcadia Parking Lot when it struck a pedestrian," Slusarz said.
