GREENWICH, CT — A pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle in Greenwich earlier this month has died from her injuries, according to police. On Jan. 8 around 5:30 p.m., Elizabeth Deering, 77, of Greenwich, was crossing Milbank Avenue in the area of Anges Morley Heights when she was struck by a vehicle, police said.

Deering was then taken to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries, police said. On Thursday, Deering died as a result of her injuries, police said.

The driver of the vehicle, a 43-year-old Rye Brook, N.Y., man, stopped after the crash and remained at the scene, police said.
