Pedestrian Struck By Vehicle In Old Greenwich: Police
The incident occurred Tuesday evening on Arcadia Road.

GREENWICH, CT — A 59-year-old Greenwich woman was knocked to the ground and injured Tuesday evening when she was struck by a vehicle on Arcadia Road in Old Greenwich, according to police.
The incident occurred at about 7:40 p.m. at the intersection with Sound Beach Avenue. The victim was crossing Arcadia when she was struck.
The woman's identity - and the extent of her injuries - was not disclosed; she was transported by Greenwich Emergency Medical Services to a local hospital for treatment and is recovering.

According to Greenwich Police Lt. John Slusarz, the driver of the vehicle immediately stopped and is cooperating with the Greenwich Police Department’s Traffic Section, which is investigating the incident.
