PilatesPrivé Opens — Elevating the Practice of Pilates Beyond Trends and Focusing on the Science
With a combination of classical and biomechanical movement training, McRandal tailors her approach to each client's unique needs.
PilatesPrivé, a boutique private Pilates studio founded by expert movement educator Daisy McRandal, announces its Grand Opening in September at 53 Greenwich Avenue, 2nd Floor, in the heart of downtown Greenwich. Offering an intimate, light-filled environment designed for focus, calm, and transformation, PilatesPrivé delivers personalized, clinically informed instruction that is backed by science but also honors the true essence of Pilates—free from fleeting social media trends and focused on the proven method.
A Vision Rooted in Expertise & Integrity
With over two decades of professional experience in movement, wellness, and therapeutic applications of Pilates, McRandal has built a reputation for precision, compassion, and results-driven instruction. Her approach blends classical technique, clinical insight, and a deep understanding of the human body, cultivated through years of professional dance, advanced certifications, and rehabilitative work.

Her training in the Core Dynamics lineage, rooted in Eve Gentry’s approach, informs her precision with form and alignment. Meanwhile, her Erika Bloom certification brings in a holistic lens, integrating somatic methods that support the nervous system. Combined with advanced training in rehabilitation specialties, this foundation allows McRandal to adapt Pilates to each body—whether for healing, prevention, or peak performance.
“My method is intuitive yet evidence-based, grounded in decades of study and a profound understanding of the body’s natural intelligence,” McRandal explained. She continued, “This mixture of classical and biomechanical movement training allows me to meet the unique needs and goals of each client while incorporating the evolution of scientific research”.

She continued, “In a world where wellness is often reduced to quick fixes and viral trends, I’m committed to a Pilates method that evolves with science—helping clients build strength, restore function, and truly transform their quality of life, one mindful movement at a time. PilatesPrivé isn’t about chasing what’s popular—it’s about creating lasting change and longevity. The goal of this studio is to leverage my diverse background to support my client’s individual needs”.
The Origins & Benefits of Pilates
Developed in the early 20th century by Joseph Pilates, the method was designed to strengthen the body, improve flexibility, and restore alignment. It has long been valued as both a rehabilitative practice and a conditioning system for peak performance. Professional athletes and dancers rely on Pilates to prevent injury, extend their careers, and enhance balance and coordination. At the same time, older adults and those recovering from injuries turn to Pilates for its gentle yet powerful ability to build stability, mobility, and confidence.
Today, Pilates has an international following, with countless high-profile figures crediting it for their strength and longevity. Celebrities such as Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson, Hugh Grant, Adele, and Harry Styles are among those who swear by Pilates as a core element of their wellness routines.
McRandal emphasizes the importance of working with experienced professionals. “True Pilates requires attention to detail, correct form, and tailored progression. At PilatesPrivé, every session is designed with intention, whether the goal is rehabilitation, prevention, or performance conditioning.”
In honor of McRandal's late son, Julian, a percentage of proceeds from the Pilates studio will be donated to the Give To Live Gala, a Fairfield and Westchester-based non-profit fundraiser that supports St. Jude Children's Hospital.

About Daisy McRandal
Daisy McRandal is the founder and visionary behind PilatesPrivé, a premier private studio in Greenwich, Connecticut, where she offers a highly personalized and clinically informed approach to Pilates. With over two decades of experience in movement and wellness, Daisy’s practice is a masterful blend of precision, passion, and deep body awareness—an approach that has earned her a loyal following among discerning clients, including celebrities and professional athletes.
Her journey into Pilates began not as a career move, but as a necessity. After sustaining a serious back injury from years of oriental dance and contortion work, Daisy turned to Pilates as part of her rehabilitation. What started as a means of recovery evolved into a life-changing discovery: Pilates not only helped her manage chronic pain, but restored her strength, control, and confidence in movement. That transformation sparked a calling to master the method and share its benefits with others.
Daisy holds two of the industry’s most respected full comprehensive Pilates certifications: Core Dynamics, a lineage- and classical-based program, and the Erika Bloom Method (New York City), a holistic wellness system integrating Feldenkrais, Alexander Technique, and somatic therapy. She has also earned multiple advanced certifications in the therapeutic applications of Pilates, including osteoporosis training with Buff Bones® (Rebekah Rotstein), scoliosis management, diastasis recti rehabilitation, pelvic floor dysfunction, and pre/postnatal care. In addition, Daisy holds advanced credentials in Or Kahlon’s method and incorporates both athletic and dance-based Pilates into her repertoire. Her approach is intuitive yet evidence-based, grounded in decades of study and a profound understanding of the body’s natural intelligence. Her roots in movement run deep.
Raised in Los Angeles, Daisy began her professional teaching career in 2000 as an oriental dancer and instructor. By the age of 19, she had opened her own studio and founded a dance company, gaining a reputation for high-caliber productions throughout Southern California. Her passion for movement later took her abroad, where she studied at the University of the Arts London and the London College of Fashion, expanding her artistic and cultural framework.
At PilatesPrivé, Daisy brings the same artistic rigor and refined sensibility to every session. Her
clients receive more than just instruction—they receive a truly bespoke experience that
strengthens the body, calms the nervous system, and fosters long-term well-being. With her
signature blend of clinical knowledge, personal care, and movement artistry, Daisy is
redefining what it means to practice Pilates today.
