Police Bust Trio In Strong-Arm Robbery At Greenwich Sephora Store
The incident occurred on Dec. 24 at the Greenwich Avenue beauty products shop.

GREENWICH, CT — Three Brooklyn, NY men were arrested on robbery, larceny and related charges on Dec. 24 after they allegedly tried to steal over $300 worth of beauty products during a strong-arm robbery at the Greenwich Avenue Sephora store, according to Greenwich police.
The incident occurred at about 4:15 p.m. when Markiece Samuel, 18, Junior Salmon, 21, and Shaquelle O. Taitt, 23, showed up at the store with a duffel bag, which they allegedly stuffed with items. One of them also had a device on him which could remove magnetic security components from the items.
When store employees realized what was going on, two approached the suspects and a scuffle ensued. The three shoved the employees out of the way and ran out of the store, police said. The three then jumped into a 2007 Infiniti sedan, but the store employees were able to give police a description of the vehicle and the license plate, and Greenwich officers apprehended them a short while later.
