'Police Day' In Greenwich May 12

The family friendly annual event offers the community the chance to meet the men and women in blue and learn about the department.

GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Police Department will host its annual "Police Day" from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, at police headquarters on Bruce Place, rain or shine, organizers announced.

The family friendly event is designed to give the community the opportunity to interact with members of the department in a fun, relaxed and social setting.

"Come and meet the Greenwich Police Officers and tour our building," wrote organizers in a statement. "Vehicles and equipment will be on display, a bouncy castle for the kids, free hot dogs and more!"
