Juvenile Responsible For 'Disturbing Message' At GHS: Police

Police were called to Greenwich High School on Thursday after a threatening message was found inside a bathroom.

GREENWICH, CT — In an update Friday evening, the Greenwich Police Department said they have identified the person responsible for writing a "disturbing message" on the wall inside a girls bathroom at Greenwich High School on Thursday.

Capt. Mark Zuccerella of the GPD said a juvenile student has been referred to Bridgeport Juvenile Court for the charges of first-degree threatening, which is a class D Felony, third-degree criminal mischief and breach of peace.

Zuccerella said the Greenwich Board of Education has been notified, and that there are no safety concerns or threats towards the school at this time.
