Police Seeking Robbery Suspect In Greenwich: PD

Police said the robbery occurred Wednesday in Greenwich and a handgun was displayed. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

GREENWICH, CT — Police said a robbery occurred Wednesday evening in the area of Mill Street and are seeking the public's help locating a suspect. Police posted about the incident on Twitter around 5:30 p.m.

According to police, the robbery occurred at 111 Mill Street, in the Byram area of town. A handgun was displayed during the robbery, however no injuries were reported, police said.

The suspect is described by police as a tall man wearing a Fedora style hat, a surgical mask, a black sweater and jeans. He was also carrying a yellow shopping bag, police said.

Police released a photo of the suspect's vehicle on Twitter, which can be seen here.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or spots the suspect is asked not to approach him, but to instead call 911 or or 203-622-8004.
