Popular Connecticut TV Reporter Leaves Post At Year's End
The Connecticut native is a graduate from Hamden High School.

WTNH-TV reporter Jacquie Slater, a Connecticut native who graduated from Hamden High School, is leaving the New Haven-based station at year's end, according to posts on her Facebook page.
"It has been wonderful in many ways to work here in my home state and with so many people I consider friends and family but new adventures are calling and my little people and I are looking forward to the next chapter," wrote Slater.
She hasn't yet announced where she's headed next, but Slater has been with the station full-time since 2015 and worked at WTNH as freelancer from 2012 to 2013. She has also served as a reporter in Anchorage, Alaska, Providence, RI and Tallahassee, FL.
