Popular Greenwich Eateries Temporarily Closed, Here's Why
The two eateries, which are located next to each other, were opened in 2024 by the same owner.
GREENWICH, CT — Constantino's Pasta Bowls and Love You A Latte, two popular eateries in Greenwich's Chickahominy neighborhood, have been closed for several days.
Diners might have noticed an orange health department notice on the door of Constantino's Pasta Bowls at 160 Hamilton Ave. in recent days, noting the business violated town code and state statutes for failing to obtain a food service license. The notice was posted on Aug. 19.
Robyn Bordes, who opened the restaurants with her husband, Michael, in 2024, told Patch on Thursday that the couple recently sold the businesses, and the new owner, Jihaad Alyusuf, is working on getting permitting straightened out.

Alyusuf also owns Petite Bretagne in Rye and Mamaroneck, N.Y. - a restaurant that offers authentic French pastries, crepes and sandwiches.
Pasta Bowls and Love You A Latte could open next week, according to Bordes. She said she hopes the community will continue to support small businesses.

Bordes said she and her husband wanted to spend more time with each other and their family. Robyn also operates a PR firm, and Michael has a construction company.
"Life passes too quickly," Bordes told Patch via email. "We love the Greenwich community and look forward to continue supporting both Love You a Latte, Pasta Bowls and other local businesses."
Under the Bordeses, Constantino's Pasta Bowls allowed customers to make their own fresh pasta bowls with over 80 possible combinations.
Other menu items included salads, sandwiches, wraps and burgers, classic Italian entrees, trendy viral dishes and desserts.
The restaurant became a hot spot for reality TV stars since it opened.
Love You A Latte offered up specialty coffee, handcrafted lattes, and a variety of baked goods with locally sourced ingredients.
The Bordeses also sold Constantino's of Greenwich in May. The business opened in 2022 at 699 W. Putnam Ave. before it moved to 136 Hamilton Ave. in 2025.
The restaurant featured an array of pizza, salads, appetizers, sandwiches, pasta, entrees, and ice cream.
Bordes said the business subsequently closed down after it was sold to a new owner.
