Potential Republican Tax Hike Worries Greenwich Residents: Report
Facing a potential elimination of most deductions for state and local taxes, some Greenwich residents are considering moving out of state.

GREENWICH, CT — With a possible tax hike looming due to proposed changes to the nation's tax code, some Greenwich residents are contemplating moving out of the state, reports Bloomberg Politics.
Congressional Republicans are proposing to eliminate most deductions for state and local taxes, among other changes, which could hit Connecticut and New York residents particularly hard.
Florida appears to be chief among the possible destinations for those Connecticut residents who pull the trigger on a move, in part because the Sunshine State lacks an income tax.
