CT Power Outages: 30,000 Still Without Power Late Tuesday

30,000 Connecticut residents are still without power Tuesday. Here is a town-by-town look at the outages.

Two days after a major wind/rain storm knocked out power to 160,000 Connecticut residents, crews from Eversource and United Illuminating Co. have been working around the clock to restore power. As of 9 p.m. Tuesday, there are still 30,000 plus Connecticut residents without power, and some may not get restoration until Thursday afternoon.

As of 9 p.m. Tuesday, only 123 UI customers are still without electricity and Eversource is reporting 30,570 outages. Eversource also says residents can click here to see when their power will be restored.

Connecticut is looking at its coldest temperatures of the fall as most of the state is under a Frost Advisory tonight and the cooler temps will be sticking around for a few days and then we're back into the 70s on Friday.
