The pregnant woman was found at the scene with road rash abrasion injuries, police said, noting that the woman told officers she was run over during an altercation with the accused over her car keys.

The accused drove away from the scene with the woman's keys, and then "constantly tried texting and calling" her while she was being treated at the hospital, a violation of a protective order, police said.
