Prepare For An August Primary, Says Greenwich Registrar's Office
May 14 is the deadline for a CT voter to change from one political party to another and be eligible to vote in the new parties' Primary.

GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Registrar of Voters' office is advising residents to be prepared for a primary in Connecticut - for both Democrats and Republicans - on Aug. 14, based upon the wide array of candidates who are running this year, officials announced.
"These upcoming primaries are only for voters registered with a party," wrote officials in a statement. "To vote in the Democratic primary, you must be registered as a Democrat. Likewise, to vote in the Republican Primary, you must be registered as a Republican."
Residents can check their party and voting status online at www.greenwichct.org/vote. Click on the "Check to see if I am registered" link; to change parties, address, or to register to vote, click on the "How to Register to Vote" link.
