President Joe Biden To Visit Greenwich For Campaign Fundraiser: Report
President Joe Biden's upcoming visit comes almost a year after his last stop in Greenwich.

GREENWICH, CT — President Joe Biden will come to Greenwich next week for a re-election fundraiser, according to the Hartford Courant.
The event is scheduled for Monday night, June 3, at a private home in the Backcountry, the Courant reported.
Guests are expected to include Gov. Ned Lamont, U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal, and U.S. Rep. Jim Himes — all Greenwich residents — as well as U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy, former U.S. Sen. Chris Dodd and Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz, among others, the Courant said.

A report from the Associated Press on May 20 noted that Biden's campaign raised more than $51 million in April, compared to $76 million former President Donald Trump and the Republican Party reported for the month.
NBC News reported that Biden and Democrats began May with $146 million in cash-on-hand, compared to $88 million for Trump and Republicans.

Biden's visit comes almost a year after his last stop in Greenwich. On June 16, 2023, Biden attended a $25,000-a-head fundraiser for his re-election campaign at a private home near Lake Avenue.
