Promotional Ceremony Scheduled For Greenwich Firefighter

The veteran firefighter is replacing a recently retired member of the Greenwich Fire Department.

GREENWICH, CT — A promotional ceremony has been scheduled for Wednesday, March 27, for veteran Greenwich Firefighter Bob Roth, who is becoming a Fire Inspector, department officials announced.

Under the promotion, Roth will assume the duties of recently retired Greenwich Deputy Fire Marshal Rich Funck.

The ceremony is scheduled for 2 p.m. on the third floor of the department's Central Station on Havemeyer Place.
