Retired Greenwich Police Lt. Robert J. Brown Sr. Passes

GREENWICH, CT — Retired Greenwich Police Lt. Robert J. Brown Sr., a 33-year veteran of the force, recently passed away at the age of 74, the department announced on its Facebook page.

Brown was a United States Air Force veteran and lifelong Greenwich resident who joined the department in 1969 and retired in 2002.

During his tenure, he received five Commendations, 26 letters of appreciation, and the Meritorious Police Duty Medal, among other honors.
