Retirees Honored By Greenwich Firefighters For Decades Of Service

Greenwich Professional Firefighters recently honored four members who retired from the Greenwich Fire Department this year.

GREENWICH, CT — On Saturday, Greenwich Professional Firefighters held their annual retirement dinner at The Waters Edge at Giovanni's in Darien. During the event, the association honored four members who retired from the Greenwich Fire Department this year.

The four retirees were:

  • Deputy Chief Tom Nixon - 31 years of service
  • Firefighter Jason James - 22 years of service
  • Firefighter Chris Kear - 20 years of service
  • Deputy Fire Marshal John Kiernan - 18 years of service

"Congratulations to this year's retirees," the association said in a Facebook post, "and good luck in your future endeavors."
