Ribbon-Cutting For Armstrong Court Phase 2 Scheduled For July 16
Phase 2 is a $27 million project to renovate 42 housing units in three buildings at Armstrong Court in Greenwich.

GREENWICH, CT — The improvement project at Armstrong Court is about to hit another significant milestone.
Greenwich Communities, formerly known as the Greenwich Housing Authority, will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Phase 2 of the Armstrong Court project at Building No. 6 on Saturday, July 16, at 10:30 a.m. The ceremony was originally scheduled last month but it was postponed.

Phase 2 is a $27 million project to renovate 42 housing units in Buildings 1, 3, and 6. The one and two-bedroom apartments have been renovated into three-bedroom units with new kitchens and appliances and other improvements. During Phase 1, 18 new townhouses were built.
"These buildings are transformative steps in furthering our vision for quality, affordable housing in Greenwich," said Greenwich Communities Executive Director Anthony Johnson in a news release. "We continue to demonstrate our commitment to provide the opportunity to live in quality, affordable housing through fiscally responsible asset management of our resources."
