Riverside Man Accused Of 'Facilitating' Heroin Overdose: Police

The incident allegedly occurred on Oct. 20.

GREENWICH, CT — A 31-year-old Riverside man allegedly provided crack cocaine and heroin to an overdose victim in Greenwich last weekend, and even "physically facilitated" in the overdose by intravenously injecting drugs into the victim, according to Greenwich police.

The victim was treated in Greenwich Hospital on Oct. 20 and survived, but their current condition was not disclosed. Additional details of the incident were not disclosed.

Arrested on a warrant for allegedly aiding in the overdose was Parker M. Ross, of Westview Place, who was charged with:

  • Reckless endangerment
  • Assault, 2nd degree
  • Sale of narcotics
  • Possession of narcotics
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana

Ross surrendered to Greenwich police on Tuesday, Oct. 23, and was held in lieu of bail of $200,000. He is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court in early November.
