"Significant Repair Work" Required On Greenwich Road: UPDATE

A portion of the road is closed due to poles and wires down in the road, according to the town's dispatch center.

GREENWICH, CT — Bedford Road in Greenwich is is blocked at the intersections of King Street, Locust Road and John Street with barricades due to poles and wires down in the road, according to the town's dispatch center. The center said Monday afternoon on Twitter that Eversource is responding to the area.

In a subsequent tweet, the dispatch center said the road closure will be extended as "significant repair work" is required in the area.
