Road Closed In Greenwich, Significant Traffic Delays Expected: Police

GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Police Department announced Thursday afternoon that Pemberwick Road is closed between Glenville Road and Grey Rock Drive due to "compromised" utility wires in the area.

"This is expected to be an extended closure while utility crews work to make repairs and ensure the area is safe," police said. "Significant traffic delays are expected in the surrounding area."

Drivers are urged to avoid the area, plan ahead, and seek alternate routes.
