Armed Robbery Reported At Greenwich Wendy's: Police
According to police, two men robbed the Wendy's on W. Putnam Avenue right before it closed early Monday morning.

GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich police are investigating a robbery that occurred at the Wendy's restaurant on W. Putnam Avenue early Monday morning.
According to police, at approximately 1:50 a.m., two males dressed in black hoodies with masks entered the Wendy's while employees were closing up, and one of the men brandished a gun and demanded cash from the manager. An undisclosed amount was taken, police said, noting that there were no injuries.
The men then fled the area, police said. The employees described the suspects as two Black males, unknown age, wearing all black clothing. There is currently no description of a vehicle, police said.

Capt. Mark Zuccerella of the Greenwich Police Department said the Detective Division is "actively working the case and following leads."
