Tom Brady Ends Interview After Insult About Daughter
Brady took issue with a remark WEEI's Alex Reimer made about his 5-year-old daughter.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady hung up on WEEI Monday morning over comments made about his daughter by a station employee.
Alex Reimer, who appears on WEEI shows and writes for their website, was reviewing the first episode of "Tom vs. Time" on the air Thursday night when he referred to Brady's 5-year-old daughter, who appeared in the opening scene, as an "annoying little pissant."
Brady, who has a contractually obligated weekly interview on WEEI's Kirk and Callahan, did not take kindly to the comment and ended the interview after a little more than two minutes.

"I've tried to come on this show for many years and showed you guys a lot of respect. I've always tried to come on and do a good job for you guys. It's very disappointing when you hear that, certainly. My daughter, or any child, they certainly don't deserve that. I really don't have much to say about it this morning," Brady said.

He finished by saying that he would have to evaluate whether he wants to appear on the show again. The incident came five days after WEEI and the Patriots announced a multi-year extension of their partnership, which includes Patriots Monday and a weekly Brady interview.
Reimer was notified Friday that he has been suspended. It was said on the show that he was in Minneapolis for the game and has been sent home.
"We are disappointed and embarrassed by Alex Reimer's on-air comments made last Thursday evening. His remarks were utterly indefensible, and mean-spirited commentary directed in any way at children is wholly inappropriate. Mr. Reimer remains suspended indefinitely from all WEEI platforms," a statement posted on WEEI.com reads. "We deeply regret what happened and offer our sincerest apologies to Tom Brady, his daughter and his family, as well as the New England Patriots organization. Mr. Brady has been a long time contributor to WEEI throughout his Patriots career, and has treated us with the utmost professionalism and respect throughout the partnership. We have communicated our course of action to the Patriots and Tom Brady, and they are in support of our disciplinary response."
Brady said during Super Bowl Opening Night that he does not hope that Reimer is fired.
