Sentence Handed Down In Greenwich Armed Robbery: Report
The defendant was accused of robbing a Cosi restaurant at gunpoint in 2010.

GREENWICH, CT — Jermaine Adams, a 44-year-old New Haven resident, was sentenced last week to 14 years in prison, followed by six years of parole, in connection with the 2010 armed robbery of the Cosi restaurant on West Putnam Avenue in Greenwich, writes the Greenwich Time.
Adams, who claimed throughout the trial that he was innocent, was convicted last fall of first-degree robbery.
Authorities were able to secure his conviction in part due DNA evidence from a straw that reportedly linked him to the crime.
